I dont have solid proof though, with the flagship limiting your sensors, and me not wanting to use hacking on anything but shields.

I THINK the flagship keeps some kind of repair regardless of its crew situation, because i have had the missile launcher repair itself even after i killed the crew on it and destroyed the system. designed to run from anything it cant fight, but outgun anything that it cant run from.)ĮDIT: oh yeah, i was also going to mention somthing else. (battleship level arms, cruiser level armor and engines. The flagship is likely still a cruiser, but an attempt by the rebels to make a cruiser as heavily armed and armored as possible, while still being manuverable.Ĭall it a draw, its a battlecruiser, which blurs the edge between cruiser and battleship, and fits rather well when you think about it. a ship can be a cruiser and a captial ship, one being ships designed for 'cruising distant seas independant of other vessels' and the other being the largest ships in a navy (generaly used for carriers and battleships.) but i dont know if it qualifies as captial ship, as i dont think its that huge (at least compared to our ships.)
